Prospective Members

We are always looking for motivated students and researchers to join our lab, especially those who are already at NUS. Before reaching out, review our recent publications and make sure that your research interests overlap with our lab’s. Unfortunately, we will not respond to generic emails sent en masse.

Prospective PhD Students

The National University of Singapore has an excellent PhD program in Computer Science with two intakes: August (apply by 15th December the previous year) and January (apply by 15th June the previous year). You can find more information about the application process here. We have openings for multiple PhD students to join our lab from Fall 2027. If you are interested, we recommend applying by December 15th, 2026. Please note that admissions at NUS are managed centrally by an admissions committee, and a faculty member cannot directly admit a student. Therefore, consider applying to the program directly, and afterward send a short email to Collins showing how your interests overlap with the lab’s.

Masters and Undergraduate Students

We are always looking for motivated undergraduate and masters students at NUS who are interested in doing research. Please send a short email to Collins explaining why you are interested in joining the lab.

Postdoc Opportunities

We are currently looking for one postdoctoral researcher to join our group starting from Fall 2027. The easiest way to learn more about this opportunity is to grab Collins at a conference and chat.

Internship Opportunties

We will likely have opportunities for a few interns to join us in the summer of 2028. We will prioritize PhD students who already have a project in mind. Check back for more details later this year.

International Visitors

We occassionally have opportunities to host international visitors, primarily PhD students. Your best chance is finding Collins at a conference and discussing the possibility with him.
